Ski Days

A Unique Tradition of Outdoor Adventure & Learning

At Kingsbury Country Day School, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom—onto the slopes! Our Ski Program is a longstanding tradition and an integral part of our physical education curriculum. Ski days count as academic school days, providing students with an opportunity to develop lifelong skiing skills, build confidence, and embrace outdoor physical activity during Michigan’s winter months.

A Proud Kingsbury Tradition
Since the 1970s, Kingsbury’s Ski Program has been a time-honored tradition, embodying our school’s spirit of adventure, resilience, and love for the outdoors. Originally hosted at Mt. Grampian, our ski days have flourished at Mt. Holly, providing generations of students with the skills, confidence, and joy that come with skiing and snowboarding.

Our program is rooted in our school motto: "No Child Left Inside." We believe in the physical, mental, and social benefits of outdoor activity, and our ski program stands as a model of experiential learning in Michigan.

Join us on the slopes and be part of this Kingsbury legacy!
